AORN 4432 February Chapter Meeting and Education Session

AORN 4432 invites you to our February Meeting and Education Session on Saturday, February 1 from 9-11am.

This month for our education session we welcome David Reinhart, DNP, MBA, RN, CNOR, FAAN, Director of Nursing Education, Emory Healthcare, Perioperative Enterprise, Marietta, Georgia & Candidate for AORN President-Elect with the topic "Is Your Perioperative Service Department Magnet Ready?"

AORN Expo is rapidly approaching!

If you are planning to attend AORN Expo and are interested in being a delegate, please let us know at AORN4432@gmail.com. We have 11 spots for delegates, and we plan to finalize delegates at this meeting.

Requirements for delegates are:

Section 1: Eligibility and Representation
A. Delegates and alternate delegates to the annual Expo must have active membership status.
B. The delegate count shall be allotted annually to the chapters based on the ratio of total active members.
C. The chapter will utilize the point system in which those with the highest number of points will be offered the opportunity to attend the Expo.
D. The membership will approve the slate of delegates as well as the funding for each delegate.
E. The delegates are required to attend all designated delegate activities at Expo. Failure to adhere to this may require the delegate to refund the funding provided to attend.
