Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab—Full Time Days

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Allen--1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013

WORK HOURS: Full Time; 40 Hours; 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday – Friday with rotating day off; On Call Required – Must live within a 30-minute drive for on call requirements.

  • Our STEMI response team is also available around the clock to promptly treat patients experiencing acute heart attack and other urgent cardiovascular needs.

Here’s What You Will Need

  • Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Other – CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
  • 1 year experience as a registered nurse or completion of RN residency program.
  • 1-year post graduate or recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN strongly preferred.
  • CVRN or CRRN highly preferred
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required.
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
